I finally decided to take a pop at using Windows Live Writer to write for my blog. While Community Server has a reasonable editor, it is an online in-browser editing experience and can suffer from the usual shortcomings that architecture has. I'm always amazed at what people can create with the most minimal of tools. In this case, a 3d library for Silverlight 1.0, written all in javascript. The animation looks pretty smooth too.

Every once in a while I check back in with the demo scene. I always enjoyed the cracktros on the commodore 64, and later the cool demos by Future Crew and others in DOS.
This is a pretty new demo, and it is very cool, especially when you consider the tiny size of the exe.
